you are just cynical, any moment now Arafat would personally beg forgiveness of each victim of terrorist attacks just as king of Jordan did and the next move would be to create a fund for victims of terrorists. Any moment now, holding your breath?

You could be.

This is also the kind of time and situation where U.S. political weight can be used to advantage if the will is there.

And I think Yasser knows that.

I've argued many times that he's been the captive of the most aggressive of his constituents.

Lets see how the worm turns before dismissing the whole thing as *PURE* PR.

For sure the Saudis now know how the president feels on the subject.
