"The IBM Securities Analysts Conference Call just ended."

Thanks for the posting. I find it amazing that this IBM thread has such poor participation. What with a rumored 8-10,000 facing loss of jobs while Gerstner retires as a virtual billionaire. As a former semiconductor guy with the company I am deeply saddened by the demise of the semiconductor business within the company. If Burlington is dumped that will leave EF alone as the sole manufacturer of semi's. Far cry from the days of EF, BVT, Sifi, Boeblingen, Essonnes, Mannassas, and Yasu producing at the same time. Places like Kingston, Endicott, Raleigh, and Hursley had pilot lines or labs.
