Singapore's Pacific Internet Posts Q1 Revenue Growth up 27.8 %

SINGAPORE, May 16 Asia Pulse - Internet service provider [ISP] Pacific Internet Limited today announced a net revenue growth to US$20.4 million in its first quarter financial results for the three-month period ending March 31, 2002.
The results are a 27.8 per cent increase over the first quarter from the previous year, the company reported in a press statement.

The ISP's net income of US$200,000, or US$0.02 per share compared to a negative US$3.2 million, or US$0.25 per share for the first quarter in the previous year.

Pacific's net cash surplus this quarter was US$0.8 million, which brought the cash position to US$13.8 million, with the total subscriber base crossing the 400,000 mark.
