Zeev. 1 Question and 1 Point of View:

Question: Exactly what does Day to Sales Outstanding represent.

Point of View. Wouldn't a possibly decent Book to Bill AH tonite and Michigan Sentiment numbers tomorrow give the Market the needed blowoff distribution? Break the March
downtrend line and sell more stock before resuming the downtrend. I Like this scenario, though I am itching to go
fully short now. I'll dip my toe in the short side and wait for the numbers tonite to see how Da Crooks are gonna spin this thing. I'm waiting for Naz 1300-1400 to go long for a while.

Just curious but would there be different DOS's that would be considered resonable depending on the industry?

If you deal with large consumer retailers, 90-days is getting to be pretty much the norm (unless you sell cigarettes, gasoline, or groceries, which are usually less than 7-days net). We have large chains demanding 180-days terms from some vendors, and getting them. The cost of money is so cheap that it's no big deal to some.

Anyone that pays now in 60-days or less is a pretty good paying account for regular retail in the current environment. 10-years ago it was different.

Wholesale accounts are more along the lines of 60-days. They do not take as much license, as their positions are not as strong as retailers.

I know this probably doesn't compare well with your example, but I just wanted to mention it.
