I am very impressed by the teachings of Buddha... Buddhism is an offshoot of Hinduism... Its a 'new' religion...so it fits the times more than the others.... I'm afraid with their own set of rigid guidelines, in a few hundrd years it will become as out of sync and as any other religion out there... Really, religion is like knowledge - the basis is universal, it just exists. Interpreting that knowledge, managing and presenting it, channelising it for benefit of mankind as an evolving product is more an organisational effort and should be commercialised...maybe even privatised..... Would be a healthier competition. Imagine Christianity Inc competing for market share with Islam Inc....! Life would be COOL !
