This is in your "initiating post." but I keep stumbling on the fact that I really have no very good idea of what happened in the first place, especially in a way that I can verify independently of the parties to the dispute. Fortunately, you can now verify independently. The party who claims he has justification for what he did can now show it. Do you disagree with anything in this post, that I sent you earlier? If it is deeply distressing to its recipient, the subject of the innuendo and insinuation and unwelcome attention, and she makes clear that it is, and her friends do, too; if she begs him to stop; if her husband does the same; if he claims his attentions are somehow justified, but because we see only "the tip of the iceberg" he can't prove it; if he is given leave to show the whole iceberg and refuses... ....When you cause suffering, do it protractedly, repeatedly, and knowingly, that is not called "jerkiness," it's called sadism and obsession.

One of the fascinating aspects of this perpetual soap opera has been the polarization. I can tell that you are trying to see both sides and I respect that, so I'm breaking my silence to give you a different view of "both sides." I think that you and Dithers make good points. Even if one is appalled at the histrionics surrounding the accusations or by the middle-school-girls' behavior or by the piling on, however, the bottom line is simple: in any fight, ANY fight, when one party cries "uncle" or "no mas, no mas" or "I beg you to stop," you stop.
