vt, looks to me like the odds also favor the gen market heading down, and that this last blip was just a technical correction.

The end of May/June massacre may well be on its way.

Liftoff may be the more likely outcome, but we need to go a bit above 118 HUI to dodge a H&S on the 60 minute which would run us down to 106 HUI, close enough to Louis' 105.
Along with some weak indicators (more apparent on the HUI than the XAU), I'm tending to agree with your original XAU drop to 73 area.

I may have a bit of contrarian fever here, but I consider todays POG action to be weak in light of the dollars swoon.

I'm standing aside with my PM trading shares here, freely admitting this might be a mistake, just noting my current thoughts, not trying to influence anyone else. I've been wrong before, ggg.
