Agree -- a good bout of inflation is the only hope for us.

I see this happening a lot already -- many food places and many items at the grocery are also up pretty good

Inflation is bullish as you mentioned but for the wrong reasons and only short term. Inflation reduces the debt problem because debt is a constant so while the price of everything rises, debt in effect becomes smaller in comparison. However, the debt is still there, and will always find a way to catch up. Inflation is only a cure for th symptom of debt, but not an actual cure for the problem. The absolute only way the debt problem gets solved is to reduce total debt, otherwise, you just prolong the problem and sooner or later that rising debt problem along with rising inflation is going to go bust....the longer they let it rise though...the bigger the bust.
