I know quite a bit of French. Understand a lot more than I can speak. Unfortunately I never run into French speaking ELL students.

Mr. X and I were already talking about going to a night class at our local college and taking Spanish- but this experience has certainly inspired me to do it ASAP.

Hi Croc..

>>Some of my students were geologists, and as I'm a rock hound, it was very interesting to discuss the geology of their countries. <<

I'm visiting S. Utah right now, this place is "rock heaven"...star "heaven" <gg> too....we went into the Red Cliff desert last night for some star gazing....saw 4 planets, and the 3 moons of Jupiter...

You've probably been here, but if not....try to make it sometime. I guarantee you will enjoy it.
