nspolar,
You have "little buggers", we have Big Hogs when it comes to taxes. State income tax, state sales tax, sales tax on state tax if you have any bad habits like drinking or smoking.
Not as bad as Taxachusetts states though.
Likely we beat our Alaskan friends on general cost of living, but I'm guessing!

Hey, rub it in a little more with some of the hunting, fishing, great outdoors stuff on top of the tax dearth and you might have a new neighbor some day.

I don't mind winter weather, though -50 is pushing it, ggg.

PS, We came close to setting a record low for the date here yesterday (in fact did here, but we are in a cold microclimate) and as we are only a few degrees away at this hour and have a frost warning declared (we are supposed to be frost free after May 15th) we will almost certainly set a record low for date tomorrow morning, perhaps by ten degrees or better.

Maybe if we stay cold enough for long enough and then go right to hot summer weather we might help the oil/gas inventory numbers. Energy could use some help short to intermediate term...

Best Regards,

Roebear
