Can't think of any others right off hand, but I'd note that Chrysler was a gov't bail-out. Also, if memory serves, the shareholders of Continental didn't do too well - didn't the gov't bring in BofA or somebody to pick up the pieces and avoid a complete collapse?

If the idea is simply "too big to fail", I'm not sure anything fits that description right now. OTOH, if the idea is that this is so cheap that it's a no-brainer like Chrysler @ $3 or Citi @ $5, then I'd agree.
