I certainly don't sympathize with acts of terrorism . . . by either side in the middle east mess.

The attack on the World Trade Center was partly the blame of an overly trusting public and lax government officials. From my own direct experience I saw that measures that probably would have prevented such a tragedy (not the motives of the perpetrators) had repeatedly been proposed to the aircraft industry and even supported by some advocates within government . . . but continuously were shot down for political or cost reasons. The public is now more aware of the threats that a simple conspiracy, with very little financing compared to the military and security measures needed to prevent them can pose. We made it very simple for terrorism on a massive scale: fuel up 180,000+ kilo explosive content guided fuel-air bombs (often called commercial aircraft) conveniently located at terrorist take off points around the country (often referred to as 'airports'), all checked out and ready to go for synchronized combat missions (terrorist acts). We even provide runway taxi service, convenient beverage service, and cockpit doors that a teenager could kick in with a side thrust! ; ^). . . Maybe we've learned a thing or two since 9/11.

It looks like opposition to Sharon is building in Israel. Maybe I won't have him around much longer to abuse on this board.
