Oh contrare my friend. In California the DNC was actually targeting illegals and encouraging them that a vote for Gore meant the greater likelihood they would someday become legal. Knowing that poll workers in heavy hispanic districs would welcome their brown skin without much scrutiny, the DNC essentally was courting the "Illegal Vote". That body numbers in the millions. Gore won the popular vote in Cal by one of those millions.
