8:35AM: Market liked what it heard in the economic data, specifically the Durable Orders report... For April, Durable Orders jumped 1.1%, which was comfortably ahead of the consensus of +0.5%.... Ex-transportation, orders were up 2.9%; non-defense capital goods orders rose 1.9%-- its second gain in five months and an encouraging indication for the market... Jobless claims fell 9K to 416K for the week of May 18... That was fairly close to the consensus of 410K and won't have any real impact...
Presently, the S&P futures, +3.40, are 2.40 points above fair value while the Nasdaq 100 Pre-Market Indicator is up 3.14 points.
