Dear MSI: Well, I agree some kind of investigation may be warranted but not a political witch hunt which Daschle and Gephardt HOPED to pull off PURELY for political purposes. As an American, frankly, I RESENTED their attempt. I should think the Senate intelligence committee could QUIETLY investigate and quietly recommend whatever changes are STILL necessary (there have been MANY changes since 9/11 already). IMHO at least 90% of the problem is the FEAR of being labeled as a PROFILER caused most of the problem. Hopefully, that has come now to be seen for its ridiculousness. JDN
