Show me a rich Catholic Country!
Ireland.

Italy isn't poor.

France.

But how Catholic are they really? Ireland has had a social revolution in the last generation. As for France, the saying goes "France is the eldest daughter of the Church. And the first one to leave home."

Ireland...Italy isn't poor...France.

I would hardly consider them rich, and I think of France as secular, not Catholic. It did go through the enlightenment, even if it's revolution failed.

But, to narrow it down, "Show me a rich, Spanish speaking, Country." And no, Costa Rica does not qualify, IMO.
