You know, Win, I'll really thank you 1) not to put words in my mouth, and 2) to respond directly to my posts, not to just sideswipe and sneer at them. Win is completely right on this one, Nadine. You made the comment and it was about the Kristof column I posted. Which I liked because he had changed his mind. However, I was not particularly burned up that you called it "trifling." I've learned that's part of your style of arguing, that it doesn't mean what others mean when they say it, and that, for you, it's actually a way to continue a conversation rather than end one. However, there is a point here. And that's the point that everyone on the thread knows your views about Arafat and the Palestinians. There are points at which you and, most likely, me, and certainly others, when arguing about Arafat and the Palestinians are just going to have to say that we must agree to disagree. We all have much to learn from LindyBill on this score.
