OT RE: "...all the above is moot if we get another 9/01-type event..." Recently we have been promised another event and, maybe, even a nuclear event by our government leaders. This week's move down followed a chorus of warnings last weekend. I don't think anyone wants to internalize the implications of a nuclear terrorist attack. Under the heading "desperate times call for desperate measures", I want to make the following proposal. The US should legalize marijuana and the cultivation and sale should be assigned to the state governments (like the state lotteries). All revenue above costs should be used for HOMELAND SECURITY. All current federal and state expenses for the arrest and prosecution of marajuana offenders should be used for HOMELAND SECURITY.
