Nspolar, re Harley's.

I took a safety course this weekend, and had an opportunity to sit on all the Harley bikes after logging some miles on mine.

The dyna wide glide was a nice fit for me, with good handle bar & peg placement. The springer softail was no good at all for my long legs. The heritage springer, fatboy, heritage classic are all perfect. I like the footboards instead of pegs.

I'd suggest you take the safety course (a must really), get your license, and then rent a few Harleys to find out what you like.
