Hi Joan and jpgill, Excuse me for interrupting.

(a) <<<people in this country have the guts to throw everyone ... in Washington out during the up-coming election!!!!!>>>

(b) <<Or the intelligence to do so>>

As one from 6k miles away and unfamiliar with the US political climate at grassroots and at machinary level, I imagine my bet in 2004 would be (a) yes and (b) yes, unless (c) there is a hot war going one at the time.

The cynic in me suspects there will be a convenient hot war at that time, coincidence I am sure.

Should the anwser turn out to be (a) no and (b) no and (c) yes, then we can look forward to further devaluation of USD and increase of interest rate.

In any case, one probably can count on increased volatility (hard to imagine) in 2004.

Chugs, Jay
