Perhaps, I'd suggest it takes the heat off the FBI.
While much can be said about Anthony (mostly unfavorable), the fact that two FBI agents profited from the use of confidential use of a restricted data on pending cases points to a much greater problem.
That being agents of our government misappropiating information both for their individual profit, while causing substancial economic loss to others.
Certianly with the state of information technology today, there is no reason for this to be allowed or to go unnoticed.
Tony was caught due to his public persona and need for attention. How often do situations (perhaps exactly as occured here) like this play out, where those who trade on inside information go undetected or their activities can't be linked to a overt illegal act?
