Richnorth, your profile shows a resurgence of impotence, either real or imagined. expect a rage-aholic outbreak any day now.

I will be soon distributing a new week piece on this thread entitled:

marek_wojna is being emotional. Enough said on that subject.

I often do not recognize your tongue-in-cheek statements. Forgive me.

As for U.S. support of Israel I see nothing wrong with it. In fact I support it, as do the majority of Congress and the American people. Israel is the only Democracy in the Middle East. We are tied to her religiously, politically and morally. Plus as far as I know U.S. citizens are not expecting terrorist acts from Israel. But for "Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40", it is a different story.

Regardless of the politically correct statements coming from the current U.S. administration, the U.S. people are at war with the brand of Islam that motivates terrorists to take innocent lives.

Hillary's "Israel is the canary in the mine shaft" quote came well after her election. However, she has been on both sides of the Israeli/Palestinian issue. That does not make her quote any less then fact based.

Until there is perfect people on this earth there will not be perfect nations. Therefore, it is worth stating again. Israel is not perfect! But Israel is our friend. I would generally side with Israel over any Arab nation in the Middle East.

Israel shares many of our values. Respect for woman. Respect for democracy. Respect for freedom of worship. Respect for freedom of thought. How can she not be our friend? How can the U.S. not support her? One can argue the rights and wrongs of Israel all day but in the end one must choose a side. I choose Israel!

Respectfully,

Eclectus
