Never has there been a time in our history when it was more imperative for the average citizen to think for himself. Pres Kennedy was quoted once as saying "we enjoy the comfort of opinions without the discomfort of thought". It seems that the greatest danger confronting us is not any one particular thought, but the absence of thought altogether. Seems that is aptly and unfortunately demonstrated by the messages posted here this weekend.

icyghoul, we just have accusations right now

nothing has been proven in the court of law yet.

>Tony was allegedly using illicitly-gotten files from active FBI investigations.... i.e., cases where the accusers hadn't yet an opportunity to defend themselves and who hadn't yet the benefit of a fair trial...

The information that he used was that the ceo was a convicted felon. Sounds like the guy got a trial to me if he was convicted.

>...he used these allegations to extort money/shares from them in exchange for his silence (which in effect scams his dues-paying members because it then puts him in conflict with his own short calls).

We don't know this for sure. It's just an accusation at the moment. I am willing to wait to see the evidence. He could have been framed, maybe the shares were for something else but the company said it was extortion because they hated him, maybe it was a competitor who set him up to take his members... We don't know the truth yet.

>...yet you are so quick to label the companies 'Scammy' while coming to Tony's defense ...yeah, actually they do sound like potential victims to me!

Excuse me but his reports are sound. He called those companies scammy or losers and they were. Notice the fbi and sec has gone after quite a few of them...with tony's help I might add. Here is his track record mary.cc

>Of course your hero was quick to forgive any alleged improprieties (Tony didn't allow THEM a fair trial remember) if the payoff was large enough... such a sweetie.

He was not a judge and jury handing down a sentence that could send the ceos to jail for many years. He was an individual sharing his honest and correct research into overvalued investments. He turned his reports over to the authorities and helped them in their prosecution of these criminals. Big difference.

* Are (were) you a member of Tony's club/scam?

I was not a member. Are you a scammer? promoter? hypester? ceo of one of those scammy companies?

>Also, what's this with the ACLU. I remember reading another of your posts in which you referenced them. Is it your position that had the terrorists comments not been made that the ACLU would have come to Tony's aid???

The ACLU has been fighting forfeiture laws. Maybe they would help him if he didn't have the 911 label. Who's to know.

>Are you suggesting that Tony's civil rights were somehow infringed?

I believe using the forfeiture laws in the manner in which they did was not just.
