paul.....we are setting up many longer term d-blows...many just showing up now.....on all the major indexes... its when they all crater... thats when the panic starts....folks are used to seeing nasdaq take a beating....its when the dow and spx start getting slapped that the panic buying in gold starts.... speaking of dow and gold.....check these charts out.... warning...if you are a perma bull.....don't click on these links..... dow-gold ratio chart.... sharelynx.net note the tops....and the years after those tops..... now check this chart.....and note the 1929 top and aftermath...and the period near the other top....mid 1960's to 1980.... sharelynx.net dow mid 60's to 1980.....did pretty much nothing... sharelynx.net so those first two tops were in two very long drawn out periods of bad times in our history.....the great depression and world war 2.....and vietnam and the much troubled 70's...... now we have the 3rd top......and gold is waking up.... heres another look at the dow-gold ratio projection to 2005.... sharelynx.net i know bulls say history doesn't prove anything...."its different this time"..... well...thats a 100 year chart....and this is only the 3rd top....the two other tops proved fatal.... conclude what you want....
