I don't think I'll post here any more.

I hope you don't go through with this. It would be a genuine loss for the thread.

Looks to me like the $30K is compensation for the privation the families will endure, having their homes and all their possessions destroyed, and being put out in the street.

While we don't really know for a fact what runs through a young suicide bomber's mind, we can certainly speculate that he is motivated to some extent by the charitable aspects of his endeavor--charity to his family he knows the Saudis will provide. Can anyone say for a certainty that the payments are not incentives?

The simple fact that it is reasonable to speculate that the payments are in fact incentives calls for their elimination. Anything that foments this hideous terror should be proscribed.

The Israeli policy of destroying homes does not apply to Area A, which Israel gave to full PA control as part of Oslo. That is why most of your stories dated to pre-Oslo dates. Area A includes all the Arab towns and holds about 95% of the Arab population of the West Bank & Gaza. So naturally the main source of suicide bombers shifted to Area A, especially the UNWRA-run 'camps', which neither Israel nor the PA controlled.

"Punishing their families is inhumane. It is outrageous. It is barbaric. It is vile." You say, CB.

How many fathers and mothers have you seen on your TV saying how proud they are their son blew himself up amongst vile Jews; adding that his he/she is willing to let his other half a dozen kids do the same, while he sips coffee with his joyful neighbors?

Did that make you sick too ?

And the fact that we are not posting outrageous insults to these daily comments by PA parents; doesn't that make you throw up ?

Or the fact that these good loving parents never speak about that money they get ? Doesn't it turn your guts inside out ?

And what about the fact that even the kamikazes misses are getting same monies amount ? Doesn't that make you cough blood ?

And what about the fact that it is Saddam who pays the most ? Does it give you the same fever the gazed people from Halabsha got ?

Or may be the fact that never did the PA arrest the kids rioting in sahids dresses with guns and bombs. That must have finished you off...

Unless your problem is entirely different, of course ?
