Toes,
I visited this board yesterday for one reason...one reason only. The reason was to point out that we were celebrating Memorial Day, to honor those who gave their lives to protect the freedom that we all love and share, and that one Shrub Bush who postures himself as a person "who has gone to war" was in fact an AWOL from military service. A fact that was not denied by ONE person who responded to my post because as you say...I checked my facts before "I" shot off my mouth. But as a tribute to your post and your statement("The Democrats tried to have the votes voided BECAUSE they weren't filed in a timely manner")thus validating there was probable cause to question these votes, and the action you took to PROTEST is pathetic, because if you were such a patriot and concerned about a person's right to vote, where were you when literally thousands were turned away from the polls because of the color of their skin. Funny! You state..."the democrats should hang their head in shame for WHAT they did to our military." And should I point out to you how absurd this statement is ..."the timely manner was held up by our UNITED STATES POST OFFICE, who didn't bother to mail the votes from our military bases over seas to Florida."
Toes, spin your lunacy all you want, but you should know that the United States Post OFFICE only operates within this country, the handling of mail from our overseas military bases is handled by the same military that you say was being deprived of their right to vote for BUSH..I mention this just in case a fact ever wishes to collect residency in your brain and you want to revisit what you posted..."My how convenient! Another Democratic slip up?"

So I will leave you with these facts...I have a big mouth, but you have a SMALL brain and you supported an American President on Memorial Day that instead of serving his country in the military, he went AWOL. ( And I know how the denial and blame game's works....the Democrats slipped up and they made him do it.) TaTA!

Re: "The democrats should hang their head in shame for what they did to our military!"

Why have there been no federal lawsuits filed over this so-called disenfranchisement of the military vote? Instead, why did the Justice Department last week file five lawsuits involving Republican-controlled county election boards (three in Florida) ... for seeking to prevent minorities from voting?

Get your facts straight before going off on your daily right-wing rage.

The military delivery of properly signed and dated ballots, in good order and on time in 2002, will make the D-Day landings look like a routine patrol. Some Democratic crimes must NEVER be forgotten...
