NO ONE who can't prove a basic ability to read and write should EVER be allowed to confer power.

NO ONE who can't prove valid residence and identity should ever be allowed to register.

NO ONE who already voted once today should be permitted to do so again until the NEXT election.

These three simple requirements certainly will not confer infallibility on the public, and the occasional Clinton will still fool them all and get through. But the destruction of our democratic process through the left's devious cheapening of the franchise, as well as the bovine-eyed complicity of the left's opponents in not standing up and opposing them, constitutes the greatest obscenity of the post WWII era...

Universal suffrage does not mean there are no qualifications to vote, as you well understand.

Citizens, 18 or over, not in a coma, not a felon or ex-felon, not dead, not citizens of another country. Ballot in English but voter materials can be in supplied in any language. Voters can then carry a sample ballot into the booth and vote accurately. I forsee that a citizen in the US (thanks to our stupid citizenship laws) can be non-English speaking his/her whole life. A change would have been for the better. There is no value in granting citizenship simply because you were born on US soil. IMO it is fraud. I see no advantage in lowering the effort to vote to where a tug on a bar, (like a slot machine) will result in a full ballot of votes.
