"I'm still thinking about why you have so many vague and conditional statements in your analysis."

Because anything that is more than one quarter out is guesswork, from any of the manufacturers.

The 400 potential chips per 200mm wafer is from AMD's presentation. The statement about good and saleable die per wafer is because we don't know what either company is doing, it's all a guess. I would assume that 50% would be on the very low side, wouldn't you? As far as the wafer starts per week, AMD recently said they were doing about 3800 per week, and would ramp up from there, I think 4k per week would be conservative, wouldn't you? A far as qualifying the binning and/or yield, what do you want? I was trying to come in at the lower bounds, if you have information that could make it tighter, cough it up.

That includes the number of processors sold in the latter half of 2003.

Funny how that works...I was thinking, with all those conditionals, that he'd been reading too many posts by you and your sidekick!!!
