Michael;

I'm growing concerned that we will not get a very positive outlook from CF and MC on 6/4 and that the stock will drop to 15 range.
Only my gut feeling.
El

More Losses On Tap For Wall Street

By Igor Greenwald
May 30, 2002
IT'S MILLER TIME. But while tobacco-and-food giant Philip Morris (MO) toasted its sale of Miller Brewing to South African Breweries for $5.6 billion in stock and debt, Wall Street didn't share in the festive mood. Premarket futures forecast another weak open for stocks, whose recent slide has given buyers another reason to stay out of the market.

Mounting tensions in Kashmir raised the odds of a war between nuclear powers India and Pakistan.

The technology sector produced more depressing headlines. Computer makers Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) and Sun Microsystems (SUNW) plan to shut down for the week of July 4, asking workers to take vacations or unpaid leave to save money amid the continuing slump in corporate spending.

Meanwhile, Microsoft (MSFT) is working to settle Securities and Exchange Commission allegations of misleading financial reporting, according to The Wall Street Journal. The software giant isn't accused of inflating results in the manner of so many other public companies. Instead, it's alleged to have stashed away reserves to spruce up the reported growth rate in latter quarters. The SEC may merely slap the company's wrist. But the case will do nothing to boost investor confidence in corporate reporting. Microsoft's stock slipped 1% in premarket trading.
