I am no friend of average I don't think I've talked to him in many many moons and I think I will keep that up I treat him the way Karen treats CH but his remark just about sums it up for me It was NOT an insult to Poet it was an insult to what this thread becomes every time you "guys"- and you are mostly guys come over and disrupt it (of course you have every right to do that, and Average has every right to note it) and I don't dislike Poet I dislike some things she has done, and some ways she has acted- because I don't think illness is an excuse for behavior, but in general I like her more than Average and CH rolled into one. However I don't defend the ACTIONS of people just because of how I feel about them- that would be irrational. If it were to cut people slack for their mental illnesses I'd have to cut more slack for other people with illnesses who do things I don't like- and I don't want to do that. Ch and Poet are both fragile people, imo, and yet they are both responsible for their actions.
