2-3 years is my guess, though it might take even longer for the stock mania to unwind completely because it is so deeply engrained in American financial culture after 20 years and more of bull markets. But these things could always happen sooner, for a variety of reasons, and so I will stay almost completely on the short side of the markets except for precious metals and energy. I say "short side." I have stopped actually shorting any stocks. I mean LEAP puts on the Dow and QQQ, and BEARX.
