In all fairness jarhead, $43,00, gold coins and a loose diamond was hardly enough to convince me that was Tony's get away stash.

1) 43,000 is not that much cash for someone with his wealth

2) Gold coins. Tony admitted long ago on SI he possess physical gold. He was a perma-bear, that is the mind set. Visit the bear sites here on SI. They have daily orgies about gold.

3) It was a loose diamond. Everyone seems to be designing their own jewelry these days. If it were diamonds, well that would be different.

I'm not saying this was not enough for Tony to make a mad dash, he could have all this in his possession regardless of his current situation.
