yah but your ecentric-g- old cars are unsafe, no Airbags etc. They shouldnt be driven if you can afford new.

We had a 1976 Corolla but it got to where it couldn't pass emissions inspection after a mere 180K or so. Daughter still driving an 87, doing fine at about 180K, same engine and transmission. Very envious of your making it pas 300. In fact, never even heard of that. PLymouths and Dodges were not bad, for a brief period about 1962-65, until the company tried to meet emissions standards by adding one gadget on top of another instead of redesigning the engine. After 1967, they would run fine when brand new and become almost undriveable after maybe 60,000 miles. At least that was my experience.
