Kent - How can DoCoMo be using it with i-mode then?

Several things:

1) I didn't say other systems couldn't use SnapTrak, just that commercial chipsets are more difficult and to my knowledge don't exist.

2) I didn't know that DoCoMo was using SnapTrak. Are you sure that they are using any position location on a commercial basis and that it is SnapTrak? (I remember some talk of them providing some location system sometime in the future, but not yet)

I am pretty certain that Docomo is not using Snaptrack and i-mode. They were using Snaptrack for some sort of seperate location based system. The location based system for i-mode is not based on GPS.
