it appears that the first multi-mode chipset to support GPS One for GSM/GPRS will be the MSM6300

David, as you said, the MSM6300 is multi-mode (cdmaOne, CDMA2000 1x, and GSM/GPRS). Per my notes, gpsOne works only in the 1x mode .. but it must work in the cdmaOne mode too. I think I made this notation because the MSM6300 spec sheet does not explicitly say gpsOne works in the GSM/GPRS mode. Search on "gps" and please let us know your interpretation. cdmatech.com
