okay, i understand now. you're correct, i don't have AVG installed. and your discovery that AVG does list the number of viruses it detects (while also stating that the list is not all-inclusive), and the fact that the AVG list is shy of the 61,155 (now 61,170) on the NAV list goes a long way towards explaining the pcmag review and that other poor review. the testers are throwing viruses at it that it is not equipped to handle. that's my conclusion, anyway. :)
