"But, he didn't mention his pal Osama"

Curious. OBL seems to have been otherwise deployed, or employed.

Hell, maybe he decided to retire. It must be comforting, being supposedly the world's "most wanted man", and yet having friends in high places, that are welcomed and kissed by Bushes at Crawford Texas...

Yes, I saw part of the speech. I can't yet parse that for intent. Still waiting to get a better idea of intent with the "axis of evil", and how they plan to control upcoming investigations.

Raymond, Your words were those of a traitor. It is no wonder that fine soldier was angry at you. He is in the process of protecting your worthless ass, and you try to tell him he is squandering his time. Count yourself to be damned lucky you were not stupid enough to say that to his face. Better yet, why don't you go down to the VFW, and say the same thing, and have one of those old vets mop the floor with your ass.

"Soldiering on" You bring disgrace to that phrase. You are a disgrace to the United States of America.

I was resoundingly scolded as a traitor the U.S. and in waves of obscenity and vulgarity told to get my a__ out of the
country or they would be coming to get me.

Free speech, it's a bitch. Nice anecdote. Tying voting rights/citizenship to universal service might be interesting. Born free has a nice ring but little else to recommend it except in Utopia.

Ray, what you know about the military can be summed up in two or three liberal cliche' lines. "They are all robots", "they want to kill" "they can't think on their own" etc. etc...

What liberals have a tough time grasping is that freedom of speech means the freedom to disagree with your point of view. Your "truth" is nothing more then indoctrinated leftists spin laced with your own "I hate America" twist.
