I would never have thought of adding pumpkin pie spice. That sounds wonderful. And I have some in the cupboard (although I've no idea why. I wonder how old it is. Does it last forever?)

I can't remember asking you this- have you ever eaten Maradol papayas? I bought some recently and we ate them with limes- they were wonderful. They taste not very good without the lime (imo)- but they are wonderful with lime. I also tried Philippine mangoes recently- I don't think I'd had those before. What we usually get are the big green/orange mangoes- these were yellow, and differently shaped. Very nice flavor.
