From PC World:

Analysts expect Intel to remain dominant in chip speed this year. But for computer users who are more impressed by system performance than by chip speed, AMD-based PCs should continue to be the better value.

PT, Re: "The board includes AGP but it appears Nvidia has an integrated solution for Hammer?"

That reminds me. Ever wonder about how integrated graphics solutions will be implemented without a direct connection to memory? Accesses will have to go through the CPU, right? Might be lower performance, but maybe not. It should add another layer of difficulty to validation, though.

Re: The page has a link to an Nvidia motherboard. It looks like a Hammer board (>478 socket) with Nforce stickers over the two support chips.

Just when you think the news can't possibly get any better.

Of course, given the history of the stock, we'll probably have a down day, Monday!
