THE INSANITY OF U.S. FOREIGN POLICY

MSI,

I just ran across a couple of interesting factoids at Harper's Index:

Estimated amount the United States spends each year safeguarding oil supplies in the Persian Gulf : $50,000,000,000

Source: Council on Foreign Relations (N.Y.C.)

Estimated value of U.S. crude-oil imports from the region last year : $19,000,000,000

Source: U.S. Energy Information Administration/ Harper's research

As a systems Engineer the only thing I've gotten out of the Rowley email is that this woman does not understand to flow of information in time and exhibited very sloppy thinking and poor analysis. And all who are creative and do create know that the greatest learning occurs with failure and not with constant success.

I am quite confident that all the good folks who make up the various levels of security will now focus on what is important and not be hampered by the quicksand of PC from the former stupidest that ever was.

Most Stupid Individuals cannot cannot understand any of this and are condemned to FUD.
