ot: fwiw, odds are always stated "against". So the correct way to interpret "15:1 on TYCO hitting single digits this week" is that the person is saying he's figuring the odds are 15 to 1 against TYCO dropping down to single digits in the time frame he mentioned. In other words, he's suggesting the chances of it happening are 1 in 16. (Sixteen being the sum of total possible outcomes) Capish?

Already have a bet on tyc. Every time I enter a new position I keep wondering how many times I can go back to the well.

I disagree with one of your opinions...and that is that Schwartz should take koz's place. Schwartz should be canned as well IMO. Both of those guys are to blame for tyc's failure. The implosion of the stock price is the result of bad management, pure and simple. I don't see how the stock price will recover on a dime as long as the same cast of charactors is running the show. Koz being dumped was a good start, but its only a start.

- rob - i'm going thru a month of posts - yeah - tyc hit single digits - unbelievable - but CIT ipo having cleared registration - it should recover nicely - we'll see
