Interesting volume on PAAS and SSRI. Huge. Tremendous volatility as well. Should bode well for option selling when the time comes.

Have a stop loss on RIG at 34.50. We'll see if it gets clicked.

Also added to TRC here. Critical support should hold.

Added to my starter position on GLG on the dip here. That will be it for now...wanna wait and see if your XAU correction proves accurate. What's your take on the volume in the silvers?

Speaking of Elliot, Robert Prechter was interviewed by Jim Puplava last Saturday.
You can listen to the interview at:

The broadcast on Real Player or MS is at (I think):
netcastdaily.com

If not check the website at
netcastdaily.com

His prediction on the precious metals market was so strange. For a more upbeat assessment listen to theDavid Morgan report on the same website. He is very upbeat especially about silver.

nspolar,

Most likely today was the double top leading to wave 4 (of 3), similar to the one in early/mid February that led to wave 2 (of 3). There's a lot of bullishness now which will most likely take 4 to 8 weeks to dissipate. If the goldbug was ever in charge of past rallies, IMHO, he/she is not now. Unless there is an extraordinary, rogue-type event, the BIG BOYS will keep this bull on a feeding schedule. The XAU has been a textbook wave count since November, 2000.

I still like your 79 number, although as you say, it may be too obvious so maybe it will dart a few points lower to shake out the weak hands.

Regards,

vt
