It's must be something like when they warned Robert Schiller (author of "Irrational Exuberance") not to be too negative in his TV interview. I agree it's weird.

OT/ Michael,

If that article is from the financialsense.com website, they probably complained to Yahoo! and requested removal.

Financialsense.com is totally opposed to anything from their website being posted in full anywhere, especially chat boards. They have a strong statement posted on their website to that effect. ... And if the post did not include the copyright info and a link to the original article, they may scream "copyright infringement!"

IMO posting an article on a chat board should fall under 'Fair Use', but after a bit of research it seems the courts do not consider it 'Fair Use'. It is Yahoo! that gets the heat for having copyright material on their website.

That article was written by Northern Trust economist Paul Kasriel. What reason did they give for banning it?
