IMO, Islamic Jihad should seize the high ground and declare a unilateral cease fire. I think they should coordinate with Hamas, Hezbollah and Al-Aqsa etc. and use their power to enforce their side of the cease fire. Then many would see Israel as the aggressor if the incursions continue IMO. Islamic Jihad, Hamas, Hezbollah etc., must give Chairman Arafat a chance to start down the path of peace before he leaves. Let the Megiddo bomb be the last Martyrdom operation, the young Palestinians will be needed for the rebuilding. A cease fire at least until the Peace conference next month would allow time for Chairman Arafat to plan for his interim succession. Winston Churchill lost when peace was attained, and I think it's unavoidable that Chairman Arafat will lose, since we are on the cusp of peace. I hope that Israel will be able to control their outrage, and not do the bidding for the militant groups by removing Chairman Arafat. IC
