I once built an investment vehicle based on US Treasuries. The idea was to accomplish certain non-investment goals and minimize investment risk in the process. When I began working with traders in treasuries they told me that despite the size of the float it would be very difficult to trade large blocks without having the traders gang up and exact a toll charge for the transaction. While a lot of treasuries are outstanding they don't trade all that much, most holders hold to maturity. FWIW

I have set targets on my holdings and plan to start investing the profits back into real estate when the historical relationships return to near normal ranges.

I was a tech bull. I got out. I went to gold and silver. What makes you think i will trade gold and silver any different then i traded semi's or biotech, or b2b, or homebuilding...it's a sector..i don't marry anything but i am wise enough to see this is the start of a multi year bull market in gold.

jacob your post reinforces my belief that people think everyone acts as they do. why is it that you think that some smarter people cannot be greedy and take a profit? the only way i have made money in this market lately is not be greedy whether long or SHORT. pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered.
