Warp:

My best short play since January has been NKE, time after time after time, a gift which keeps on giving. I took a short position in RYL today, missed going for a couple more homeboys. I'm hoping they trade up in the morning so I can snag some, maybe LEN or CTX. I'm not overly fond of the HOV chart, yet.

Yes, where PVZ?

Warp, [edited] SV office vacancy rate bayarea.com

Driving south on 880 just before the exit to 237 there are several large new office buildings [completed last year] with totally empty parking lots. Bad timing on the part of the builder.

[edit] The report is from ML and ML is campaigning to drive stocks down further - see Intel.

Warp, I told the family they could go sight seeing without me today. I begged my brother to let me have his computer today.

I see opportunity here!

In looking at my retirement accounts, I have had a good chunk of cash in reserve. I have a policy to keep most of my retirement money invested in funds, when I do invest. I keep a separate trading account for most stocks.

I plan on putting about 20-25% of my cash to work now in an Index Fund tracking the S&P 500. I think the time has come to put a toe in the water for long term.

I like the way the semi's are selling off in pre-market. If someone is looking out 18 months or more, there may be an excellent opportunity today to take a slice.

I'm holding off in my trading account until I get home next week, but I can't help but think this is a good time to pick up some solid companies, (not the speculative ones), at very good prices.

I mentioned GE at $28 about a month ago. It looks like it may be happening. AMAT at $18? Anyone think C won't double from here over the next 2 years?

Long term opportunities for those wishing to put a portion of their funds aside!

Damn, I wish I was at home. Everything I need to follow the action would be at my fingertips.
