JPR, it is not the nuclear arsenal po the Pakis anymore. The US has undoutedly realized that the Paki nukes now belong to the Osama terrorists. And on this matter even the Russians and Chinese (traditional foes) have come together to persuade Musharraf

Pakistan will ultimately be broken into 3 parts. One will go to afghanistan. another possibly may go to India or become an independent nation and the third will go to its northern country. They have been fighting amongst themselves as is evident by the continuous string of forcible power takeovers and military dictatorships.

India and the US have been preparing for this swoop on the terrorists in Pakistan since December. Here is another similar link. We cannot be bothered with sh't falling off right. Those are not the priorities of the moment, if at all they need to be.

LCA takes wings
JPR's note
Yes, it did. But the resident curmudgeon will find some thing wrong with that. I would like to point out that here in US also the Ofsprey is being perfected. It is on the same lines that LCA is being perfected. Good things (bad for the enemy) take time. One can't hurry things up. Come on Curmudgeon, say something like LCA has leaky toilets or smells like rubber when it lands or makes ear-splitting high-decibel sound upon take off and landing or the paki balls tremble from the air turbulence or my cap flew off from air turbulence or the pilot showed me the finger or some such crap. Don't forget to rub it in with some chili powder--- I know that you Indians had aircraft 5 thousand years ago. It is only a half-hour flight. if it is that good, why was it not flying for 100 hours continuously. JPR

News:
BANGALORE JUNE 6. The Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Technology Demonstrator-II was successfully test flown here today. The flight lasted about half-an-hour.

The Defence Minister, George Fernandes, and the LCA Project Director, Kota Harinarayana, witnessed the event.

``I am happy (about the flight)," Mr. Harinarayana said, minutes after the aircraft touched down smoothly.
