That means that more people are buying 1.8GHz and 2.0GHz parts as opposed to 2.4GHz and 2.53GHz parts, all relative to what was previously thought. That means you should expect a price drop on the high end parts relatively soon.

Thread, I think this new guidance looks closer to what Intel usually does, I believe a seasonal 10% delta between Q2 and Q1, looking at historical years 1992 through 1999.

I think Intel's earlier guidance was not in line with normal seasonal trends.
