I wish. Market has been shrugging off good news, focusing on bad, and nothing short of bin Ladin's head will change that tomorrow.

Shorts will have a party this weekend. Hopefully, the washout will be quick and brutal.

There will be no positive unemployment surprise. More unemployed than last week.

Someone on Yahoo! pointed out something interesting about what Intel said:

biz.yahoo.com

"Intel also said that its communications, laptop and server businesses are performing within its own forecasts ..."

In other words, the shortfall is in desktops. If "the market" were paying attention (an unlikely possibility), that might suggest that Sun's market isn't affected.

But I suspect Sun will be included in the carnage.

JMHO.
