UBS confirms 200 London lay-offs at UBS Warburg host.wallstreetcity.com ZURICH, Jun 06, 2002 (AFX-Europe via COMTEX) -- UBS AG will lay off 200 staff in all business areas at UBS Warburg in London, said spokeswoman Sarah Small confirming a Financial Times report. Half of the 200 people concerned are working at UBS Warburg's investment banking operations, with 55 of them being investment bankers, she said. UBS will not issue any cost estimates nor cost cut estimates regarding these lay offs, Small said. de/kl NNN
